Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2019, held March 19-21 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Grounds, achieved record success as the 8th edition of the international exhibition for the fastener and fixing industry. The event attracted 12,070 visitors from 90 countries, representing 3% growth over the previous edition, with 987 exhibiting companies from 45 countries.
Record Attendance
The 12,070 visitors from 90 countries demonstrated the global nature of the fastener industry and the event's importance as an industry gathering. The number of exhibitors increased approximately 10% compared to 2017, while total exhibition space grew about 5%. The net exhibition space of 22,200 square meters accommodated the comprehensive industry showcase.
According to visitor surveys, 70% of visitors were from the EU, with Germany leading, followed by Italy and Great Britain. Asian visitors and exhibitors were strongly represented, especially from China and Taiwan. The most represented visitor segments were wholesalers, producers, technicians, and builders.
